US-IDF provides the only pathway for US dairy industry members to directly engage in IDF, which is the only non-governmental organization recognized as having special status within the Codex decision -making processes.  You have the opportunity to sit at the international table and directly engage and influence at the early stage access policies that can open trade ‘doors’.

The thing IDF does better than other associations is bringing perspectives from ‘on the ground’ markets from all around the world, straight from the folks that are working in those markets. Often, even with international associations, there is an element of the telephone game that happens, but having that direct access is helpful.
